March Bellabox vs Glossybox

With the range of beauty sample boxes available in the market today I’m sure you are confused as to which one to subscribe to and whether it is worth the price. I am here to tell you that it depends on what kind of things you like and that will differ per person. It also depends on the month. One month the box may not suit you personally but the next month may trigger your interest. Just like this month’s Glossybox – one that has surprised me pleasantly this month of March, one that my first Bellabox has not managed to do so. However, note that the previous Bellabox seemed to have been nothing short of impressive while I did not care much for the previous Glossybox. You can already see the varying opinions happening.

Glossybox for the month of March focuses on being active and healthy while staying beautiful. I received:

Eau Thermale Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser

Eau Thermale Avene Gentle Toner

Klorane Gentle Shampoo with Oat Milk

Proactive Cleansing Bar

Pome Skin & Hair Hydrating Serum

Love the smell of the box I have my suspicion on the hydrating serum giving off the lovely scent. The only thing I won’t use is the cleansing bar – to be honest – I personally dare not use it fearing Proactive will aggravate my skin.

On another note I am loving the two Avene products received.

Cute box too.

This month’s Bellabox is not exactly a box, but a muslin/canvas drawstring pouch (environmental friendly). The content seems to highly focus on hydration and eye creams with eye lift kit and a sample pot of eye balm. Bellabox says that this month is all about letting your true self shine – Bare Faced Beauty bellabox. Though unfortunately I find that it falls short in terms of expectations.

U Little Beauty Natural Repair Hair Masque

Yes To Carrots Lip Tint in C Me Blush

Pure Fiji Coconut Hydrating Body Lotion

Eyelift Kit (contains 3 tablet size application)

Bellamer Eye Balm

This lip tint is a nice minty one and it tones down my pigmented lips in days I want a nude lips look, yet instead of whipping out a lipstick I’d pull this lip tint out.

On another note, the drawstring pouch is reuseable either for your essentials in your handbag or… … storage, yet again.

Both are in the $15 mark per month. My suggestion is to try it out for 1-3 months before jumping in to the annual subscription.

Price-wise, it does not hurt to try. Especially for youse who love trying out new products without breaking the bank by buying them all full prices. Most times, 1 of the product itself will cost more than $15 and you’re basically getting the rest for free. Also for those who enjoy getting parcels, you’ll love the surprise each month it brings.
